We are enthusiast to present you the first Sinicuichi’s release in more than two years.

Neurodanza features a radical shift from the dark, ritualistic ambience of Apocatastasi (2017, Light Item) into a bright, glitchy aesthetic designed for dancefloors, chill out and indoor introspection as well.

Crossing IDM and dub tropes, the duo formed by Arssalendo and Olbos developed an array of fragmented beats that encloses a keen enjoyment of melody.

Glossario opens the album with a slow climax that collapses in a joyful, frantic effusion of sonic splinters. The title track follows with a sharp contrast between airy, melancholic synths and diffracted drums. This hyper-dense stream of debris flows out in the dub territories with Retinoscopio. Sinestesi melts a stuttered anthem in a rampage of 2-step reminiscences, eventually leaving space for the bouncing, syncopated farewell of Enjambement.

There's originality, without overdoing: rhythmic sections are a pleasure to the ears, without the electronics being too pervasive or annoying. The song I preferred is surely "Edge Condition" both because of the intro and the experimentation behind it. While listening to it, I was constantly asking myself what would come next. I really enjoyed the ending of the Dataquake remix too, as it builds tension until it explodes to a climax of different sounds. Highly recommended! n0xtu4
